A Call for Art from Artists of All Ages

I have spent the last couple of months writing for and recording a Children’s Album from home!  I am so excited for you to hear it, and it should be ready in a couple of months!

In the meantime, I am getting the “liner notes / song book” prepared for this digital release (it will be a digital only release for the time being) and I would love to include artwork from my friends (any age, any experience level) in this PDF booklet that accompanies the music, to make it even more special 🙂

If you’d like to make a drawing or painting, and send it to me for consideration, I would be honoured!  I’ll only have room for a few to be featured in the project, and if yours is one of the art pieces that is chosen, you’ll get a free copy of the album as soon as it’s released!

Here’s a list of things I would love to see artwork about, as they go along with the songs on the recording:

-person (or people) dancing
-helping or caring for a neighbour
-a child making their bed
-a child feeding their dog
-a child brushing their teeth
-a child cleaning their room
-someone who’s feeling sad or down and/or crying
-a bird (robin-like) with or without a cat nearby
-a cat with or without a bird (robin-like) nearby
-a fiddle player (or fiddle players) dancing, with or without a broken fiddle bow 😉
-something representing the seasons, any one of them or all of them
-a smiling sun
-birds, bees and flowers

Please feel free to submit as many pieces of art as you would like!  The deadline to submit them to me is Friday, June 26, 2020.

Send a photo or a scan of your artwork as a jpg to me at this email address.  Please include your name, your age (if you’re under 18 years), the city/province/state where you live, and a little description of what your art is about.

If you have any questions, just send me an email.  I hope you have fun being creative and I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
